Albert Einstein in Barcelona: "My name is Albert Einstein and I am also revolutionary, an anti-authoritarian"
NOTE; this is an excerpt from a work of fiction. Einstein did visit Spain in 1923 but there is no evidence he made contact with the CNT.
In February 1923, Albert Einstein visited Barcelona at the invitation of the Mancomunitat (the forerunner of the Generalitat, the Catalan government, which was reestablished in 1932) to give a series of sponsored lectures explaining his theory of relativity. On arrival he insisted on meeting with — and giving talks to — members of the CNT, the anarcho-syndicalist labour union.
