mind you i'm vegan so no egg sarnie odours eminating from my direction. actually, we might have just found a way to link veganism to class struggle ;)

A way to link veganism to class struggle? I'm sure it would be easy to unite the masses behind a campaign of anti-vegan hate crimes...

JDMF is The Hulk, except he isn't green and he can pull your arms off even if you don't 'make him angry'

Veganism is so boring, otherwise I'd back it. I've got some Parma ham hock, gonna make some soup tomorrow.

being vegan is only as boring as you make it. If you are a shit cook, and unimaginative eater, do not take it out on a meta choise of not eating animal bits!

Vaccines currently available do not make vaccination effective against H5N1 influenza.

From "Rock me, Joseph Alberto Santiago" - from a live performance of the Pixies' Monkey gone to heaven, perhaps?

I said "yes" because my veganism is a bit shallow and I've got a thing for needles.

I voted yes!

I gave up polutry a few months ago, and eggs last night after a drunken fest. I don't care if people think I'm crazy, we're all gonna die.

eek

not all of us!

Although the authorities are saying its ok to eat chicken and eggs and you can only get the disease from handling infected poultry or other birds, surely if you are gonna prepare the chicken before cooking your gonna have to touch it!! It all seems a bit similar to the BSE thing where you had politicians eating burgers and licking their lips saying 'its safe'. Theres a lot of hype and you dont know whether to take this as scare mongering or an indication of the ornathological apocalypse thats awaiting us all!!

Good article in the indy today about how the disease has been able to spread easily through the methods of intensive farming and the transportation of poultry across the world, especially in places like vietnam, thailand and china.

I have a life you know!

You don't get a beer because you corrected my quote. It was actually from an early version of Monkey gone to Heaven. I might still get you a beer, but I'm not sure if I have forgiven you for offering to buy me a shandy tongue

Not my fault you got it wrong!

You totally owe me a beer. And what can I say you just looked like a shandy drinker.
