Any anarchists in Swindon?

Yes - I am an anarchist in Swindon, and activley looking to build a local group. Drop us a reply, and we'll go from there.

Swindon's kind of equidistant from a number of groups. There's Bristol, which has SolFed and AFed groups, Oxford and Reading have Thames Valley SolFed (of which I'm a member) and there's a fairly big IWW group in Reading.

I'm sure if you try to set up a local group in Swindon there's plenty of people from the above places who'd be willing to help out.

Thanks for that - i'm in touch with quite a few (A) groups around the South West, who have been really helpful in building stuff in Swindon.
I know there's plenty of anarchists out there in The 'Don, it's just about trying to get us in one room at the same time and getting something started!
Out of interest, does anyone know what happened to the now defunct 'Swindon Anarchist Group'? - I'm a Swindon boy, but have only just moved back from Bath, so not too up on the towns recent radical history.
