The Library

Two questions:

Is the posting of the endpage material complete or still in process? If its done, I am very hurt since you didn't post my critique of Lenin, but that is my petty seguay into...

Isn't a bit odd to not have a section on The State?

Well, that's three posts. I'm done.

Ok, cheers,

Chris

Sorry to take your thread offtopic for a second - but as someone who has nothing to do with the content side of the library - would like to say thanks and well done to everyone who has helped out and contributed - nice work!

Hello Chris.

I am one of the libcom collective involved in setting up the library, and no- it is not yet complete. We are really grateful for all the work you've done, and are proud to be able to host the archive here.

We have committed to adding everything that was in the tarball, so don't worry- your denunciation of Lenin will be showcased!

Thanks again,

Mark

...and rkn, cheers mate

Cool.

And yeah, I also wanted to chime in at how great the work you have done is. The organization, texts, formatting, everything is really nice.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I got a lot of the texts from a fine British comrade who goes under the name Max_Textoid, who assembled this all in a CD he puts out, and I suspect he is still doing versions of it. I think the original archive was called Portable Archive of Subversion and he also included the software necessary to do web site, pubishing and more. Really a great piece. Have not spoken to him in over a year and a half and he was on version 1.3 at the time (he sent me ver. 1.2 almost 3 years ago now, i think, maybe longer.)

Cheers,

Chris

Chris,

We left yours up until now because some of the texts were in the main section of the endpage site (reading guide, which is up but not where we were planning to put it, tendency map etc.) so consider it a compliment that you've been left 'til later!

And yes, there should be section on the State, I'll probably add one in. We've still got a fair bit to put up, and then some tidying up afterwards as well.

If you've got an e-mail for Max_Textoid (or if he sees this), I'd like to get in touch with him.

I'll see if I can find his e-mail, I may still have it somewhere.
