My guesses would be that it is pretty hard to do especially if you want to broadcast to a reasonable area and you would get in a lot of legal trouble.

ah, revol68, there was me thinking you'd used up your humour after you posted that crap poll, but now you have me in tears of laughter yet again...

black and red peter (the children's program, but instead of a ship as the logo it can have kropotkin's beard... just the beard, not the rest of his face) would be awesome. "this week we're on holiday in greece. here's a crate of mollies we made early, what are you going to do with them danis?" "well first we try and hit the police with big sticks, but if that doesn't work we incinerate them with the petrol bombs." "lovely. next week we'll be showing you how to safely set a scab's car on fire next time your parents are on strike."

although obviously jack, redyred and i would soon get bored of the piss poor programs and hijack and just fill it with awesome films, preferably with morricone soundtracks or meiko kaji slicing off limbs with a katana...

Maybe we should do some of our own movies for that Community TV channel?

The Community TV channel.

I have to admit, it is a bit of a novelty when you finally do get to see something on it at 2:30am.

anyway you clearly missed the best show

''Whose Party Line is it anyway?'' In which contestants listen to a rabid leftist ranting for 5 minutes and have to guess which trot/anarchist/refromist/communist sect they belong to.

In the background we have some fancy graphics representing a ''political hair-ometer'', which coorelates the ridiculousness of a comrades beard, moustache and haircut to the madness of their theories.

john

ps and revol, if you weren't such a frothing ultra-leftist ( wink ) i would kiss you for the cooking show thing, absolute genius.

I could imagine anarchist question time, For the acdemic side we would have Chomsky, From Class War marsh, from the liberal camp Moore and Ayn Rand coming from the Libertarian right.

Because we have to be balanced in our arguments and show that anarchism the socialist perspective is better than the right wing perspectivbe.. And Ayn rand is dead! since when?

Anarchist TV? Yeah and we could purchase a few spots on main roads and have Anarchist billboards or maybe an anarchist Art Gallery full of stylish propaganda to inspire your cultured, contemplative or even armchair anarchist.

Theres nothing better than getting a few beers, pizzas and some spliffage in and having a good night at home watching a spot of Anarchist Punk Idol.

And "anarcho"-capitalism is NOTHING to do with anarchism.

It's about as anarchistic as "anarcho"-primitivism.

I think anarcho-primitivsm has enough in common with anarchist ideas to be called anarchism. Just like with Max Stirner quite few anarchist share the ideas of anarcho-primitivsm but i still think that Stirner or Unabomber-inspired anarchists are still anarchists. Anarcho-capitalism on the other hand is totaly bollocks.

Hmm. Maybie its not that vital in this case if anarcho-primitivsm shoudl be counted to annarchism since they wouldnt propably participate in a TV-show anyhow. They would probably start up their own simplified newsmedia based on smokesignals and drum-messages. smile

You seem to have 'Can't cook, won't cook' confused with 'Ready steady cook'

You are getting it mixed up, cant cook wont cook was where they got people who couldn't cook on, and taught them how to cook.

Ready steady cook is where the people bring in the ingrediants themselves. And Ainsley Harriot is/was (can't cook wont cook aint on anymore i dont think) the presenter of both, well recently anyway, it used to be that lady whos name I can't remember on ready steady cook but she got pregnant and left to have her baby.
