Lol too true Jack.
I've just got to this bit:
anarchists confronted the meeting of the eight most powerful men in the industrial world directly, right outside the G8 summit venue, shutting down their highways and tearing down their fences. The attacks of the fundamentalist Islamic bombers in London the same week look cowardly in comparison.
Great!
...I actually can't go on.
Turning back at the first sign of nausea. I always knew that anarchists had no stomach for a real struggle.
One of the same people - judging by the username, politics and longwinded style - contributed this gem to Irish indymedia after the Dublin mayday summit protests. Believe me, it's even better and being Irish indymedia rather than the UK version it got a bit of a slagging:

Speaking of UK IMC, anyone see their gate gourmet feature comments?

But then I suppose that was nothing compared to the rolls royce strike one a couple of weeks back. If I hadn't given up on activists a while ago, I would have despaired
the post on scottish indymedia is shite - as well as being full of swp style lies
the one about gate gourmet has triggered my first ever indymedia post though
If I hadn't given up on activists a while ago, I would have despaired
yeah, it's just dreadful that 2 people expressed a misguided point of view, then (at the time of writing) 6 posters responded in defence of the GG workers! Given that we don't expect everyone to be pure already, it's necessary that these conversations take place - and 3/4 immediate support for the workers is hardly damning... maybe you shouldn't give up just yet.
"pagan healers helping anarchists deal with emotional trauma"
The Canadian delegation never even made it to Gleneagles. Mission accomplished.
Enough said.
Let me put it this way: Your neighbours should be ready to call the fire brigade in case you spontaneously combust. The best thing is that the link is only to Part 1, the whole piece is even longer.
