*URGENT* Any tips on getting an alcohol license quickly?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just got back from a meeting about the Norwich Anarchist Bookfair(June 11th)....where we just found out that the pub who were applying for our alcohol license for the day didn't get it (their own license has been suspended). We've approached another pub about it, but they say it normally takes up to 12 weeks to get one. Please for the sake of my blood preesure (currently high)...has any one got any ideas on what to do? We're thinking of going to the Magistrates ourselves (for an Anarchist Bookfair...Hmmm ), any tips/advice/lovely pub owners willing to share their license for a day/offers of soothing neck massages to streesed Norwich Anarchists gratefully recieved!

Yeah, getting people to buy tokens which you exchange for beer means you dont need a licence.

maybw thats just if you've already got a licence and want to get it extended to be a late licence - miht be worth looking into tho.

I'm pretty sure that's just to extend an existing licence to late hours.
