'F**k off Harrods' - A fired employee strikes back.

A fired Harrods employee strikes back in spectacular style...

Quote:
‘Fuck off Harrods’ done by a disgruntled employee, fired by Harrods from his job as the toy department’s Father Christmas, took revenge last night in spectacular style.

Gaining access to a maintenance control room, Lloyd Hudson, 35, from Ilford, Essex, was able to locate the chart and corresponding switches for Harrods’ 10,000 external lights.

Barracading himself in, Hudson disabled the correct lights until he could spell out his feelings to Harrods bosses and Christmas shoppers alike. He was removed by security guards after an hour-long stand-off, then handed over to police.

Yeah, this is amazing. A colleague's son works at Harrods. I can't wait to pass this on.

But it's a version of something that was true: at the end of the 1960s a guy in a Brighton rock factory was given notice to quit; so before he did so, he managed to replace the usual "Brighton rock" logo that appears in the pink stick of rock with "Fuck Off" instead. They produced several hundred yards of the stuff before production was stopped.

Yeah, but "Fuck off Harrods" is much better than just the generic "Fuck Off", plus it is out there in the public for all to see.

No it wasn't - it was just some virtual joke: http://www.thepoke.co.uk/index.php/2010/12/08/bad-santa-sends-xmas-message-to-harrods/
