Cameron Kennedy RNC trial

Cameron Kennedy RNC trial
Submitted by mankato area ac... on Fri, 01/07/2011 - 23:06

On the 11th Cameron Kennedy will be going to court for crimes relating to protesting the 2008 RNC in St. Paul. The trial will be at 425 Grove Street, St. Paul, MN 55101 and will begin at 1:30pm. He was arrested on Shepherd Road with the Anti-Capitalist Bloc on the first day of the protests. Now we ask you to come show your solidarity and attend his final trial.

Visitation will be allowed this Sunday or if you call and schedule visitation. Call 651-266-9350, press 1, press 1 again, and ask about Cameron Kennedy in order to do this.

His mother writes that:

They are holding him in the detention facility waiting for his court hearing. He is in 24 hr. isolated lock down. ( I think that's typical for this detention facility) He can't have books, paper, pens, anything. All he can do is work out and he has been doing that several times a day. He said he is anxious to get put in the general population. He said he is being treated really well though. He has no complaints about his treatment.

Lets show him and the courts that we support him. Wearing black is encouraged.

He is being held at Ramsey County Jail, more information at the following web page: http://www.co.ramsey.mn.us/sheriff/detention.htm
