Devious scheme, I admit.

So Rail, I just had a look at your profile (I couldn't remember if you are in FAU, you are right?) and I noticed that one of your dislikes is green peppers. I thought, ha, that's funny, I wonder if anyone else has that same dislike. And it turns out that yes, another registered libcom user also dislikes green pepper. Now this user is just a spam account who's never posted, but it's still pretty funny.

I've only noticed one conspiracy-ish thing (The New American Century) but haven't been paying much attention. Do you have other specific films in mind?

Seriously this guy has got to the point where he's backing Ron Paul as the guy to save the world and thinks "Zionists" are behind all the bad things. I doubt he's prepared to take on board that no-one needs to conspire when inequality is systemic to capitalism itself.

No i don't think he's a prophet that gonna solve all the problems of the world, but for a LOT of reasons he deserves support. Well, it's a fact zionists are behind evil events, and Ron paul position of stop spending tax payers money on Israel regime is right, or am I lying about that?

Well, first of all it's impossible to go from a total brainwashed society after decades of war propaganda and celebrity worship to an ideal society. Ron Paul always says he's against big government interfering in all aspects of society, which is a principle of "civil desobedience" of Henry Thoreau "That government is best which governs the least...and when people will be ready to live without government, that's the way they gotta live". So he's much closer to anarchy than all statists doesnt matter their rhetoric (which includes the communist manifesto, but thats another discussion).

Also there's a difference between the total thrash monopoly of megacorporations of the globalist lobby that financed the war on iraq (coca cola, halliburton, mcdonalds) with people who have their small properties/business (people that you would call capitalists too?),they are not the same as these crony-capitalists/corporativists/fascists war profiteers, focus on them.

some so called "anti capitalists" dont focus on the real issues, the confusion and lack of understanding the bigger picture make their practice be,well, in some cases irrelevant. I'm not accusing you of lack of understanding, but some people in this forum,I cant mention a different point of view and they call "conspiracy madness" and just joke without discussing. Also I'm not saying "forget your ideals", practice them but dont think you can make millions of people live your way. And allright, the ghost "capitalism" is the problem, now how it can be replaced with something better without a bloodshed? It can't, it's a matter of changing the cultural brainwashing wich will take decades but by now the most important steps-> Oppose the United Nations centralization of power, oppose the Euro zone, IMF,world bank, take the power from the war criminal elite and when is possible arrest them, stop the Federal reserve printing hundreds of billions of dollars out of nothing...Also, with Ron Paul, no federal reserve dollars bailouting the banks in europe, that would be great for all euro zone countries oppressed by the international mafia.

Some people just think on how they dream world should be.In terms of strategy, all people against hardcore tyranny in the US should support Ron Paul to repeal the patriot act/NDAA

Hey I dont care if you think I'm an idiot but where's the evidence of the article you posted? The source is very suspicious, he claims the "hackers" donated to ADL, can I question the support of ADL to Israeli government, or it makes me "anti semitic" (which for god's sake as I said a lot of jews oppose the ADL/zionism)

A few things on this.

1) This is obviously a statist leftist position. Or at least perfectly compatible with overtaking the state and propaganda apparatus "for the greater good". Oh wait, you want to elect someone to do that for you!

That leads to

2) If there really is a conspiracy going on, and I mean such a big-ass one that penetrates every fabric of human life, how do you think a single man would change it all without falling prey to the underlying mechanisms ruling that conspiracy? Does he have that kind of power? Wouldn't that actually run contrary to the Bill of Rights? I really don't want to play the Godwin card now, but this whole Ron Paul thing eerily reminds me of the whole Adolf Hitler cult of personality type thing. Only one man able to see through it all and dispel it etc, liberate the volk from "zionist brainwashing" and all that shit.

Self-proclaimed socialists are enforcing austerity in Europe. Now, I think Ron Paul is a racist, homophobic, right-wing, capitalist piece of shit, but even politicians who do have the best of working class intentions are beholden to logic of capital. By being managers of capitalism (private or state), their actions--once again despite best intentions--are in large part determined by the economic system under which they operate.

So this isn't about integrity or principles or corruption or even financiers (in the UK, the Labour Party is 90% funded by the trade unions and its leaders opposed recent mass pension/austerity strike). It's about the nature of the state and the fact that all politicians are objectively members of the ruling class.

In regard to Paul in particular, you're neglecting to mention that he wants to privatise fucking everything, remove the "privileged status" of unions, and destroy whatever semblance of a welfare state is available in the US. Isn't he even against having a minimum wage because it's "not in the constitution" or some shit?

I was going to answer!

1-"Self-proclaimed socialists are enforcing austerity in Europe"! Thats right, for example Greece and Italy are ruled by non elected IMF/World bank bureaucrats supported by "socialists". So it's really important to not be fooled by rethoric,flags... You know the fabian society socialists... guess why their symbol is a wolfe in sheeps clothes. Socialism was used in lots of circunstances as a tool to fool the masses

2- Allright If you disagree with Ron Paul, but the disrespect ("homophobic piece of shit") could be avoided, I'm calm and compreensive but this kind of atitude just create more anger and division.

3-Yes he is a "free market" capitalist, which you can dislike but as I said to another guy, dont generalizate with the monopoly of magacorporations of the globalist lobby war profiteers. Also "free market" capitalism is not the same as extreme capitalism controled by the Federal reserve that creates trillions of debt, which make a lot of peoples debt slaves. So that's it, he wont "finish capitalism",and as I said this drastic change cant be done in a recently brainwashed society without total chaos and how millions of people can be convinced to change all structures of society?also they are not ready at all to have an autonomous life. total different systems works in smaller comunities of people that share the same principles, that can be done (for example the amish in the US), not enetering in the merits of their society but it's and example of how these different systems can work.

4-I used to think "all politicians are the same and the system dont change".In the majority of cases we have the same elite financing "opposite" candidates but when someone is genuine, and by that i mean, not a puppet of bankers,corporations... He can repeal injust laws, stop the wars, but again, it depends of millions of people to deeper changes in society, so thats beyond what he can do.

5-Well he's against intervention of the government in peoples lives,it can be great in some cases but it can create problems. Some people just expect a big government giving free stuff for them, thats how some politicians buy votes, giving small benefits, for this people probably ron paul wont be great because they will have to stand up and stop complaining about the government not giving them small benefits. Also the main point is that some people says "oh in ron paul society it would be injust it would be terrible etc etc etc" but they cant realize since the Kennedys all presidents in US are attached to the same strings, so Ron Paul wont make US a paradise in a day after decades of globalists in power... This point 5 can be controversial, i didnt make research to answer, just said a few things on my mind

Yeah yeah everyone else is sheeple, only the select few know enough to change things, all we have to do is agree with you and vote for them... you do realise this is a libertarian communist board right? That shit doesn't wash here, let alone the kind of mindless "anti-state" (apart from property rights, they're fine, not at all part of the problem) bollocks that the likes of Ron Paul comes out with.

If you're calling yourself anti-capitalist while supporting small business as somehow being pure and unsullied then you fundamentally misunderstand what capitalism is. How do you think small companies become big companies? By beating out their rivals. How do they remain so? By abusing their market dominance.

Capitalism is in essence a big competition, transnational companies are simply the most advanced expression of this process in which the game becomes rigged by its largest players, while smaller ones attempt to win their way into the big leagues through finding more and more efficient means of extracting surplus value. ALL of them have to use their dominance to exploit the vast mass of people who do not have the means to compete. This is non-negotiable within capitalism - any company which did not exploit its staff would not survive against its peers.
