Only partly, there's definitely an identifiable character to the 4-chan originated group Anonymous which has has a clear core engaging in known activities, as opposed to the concept anonymous.

OK, so long as we don't fall into the tabloid pattern of thinking that behind every name is a stable, fixed-membership group. Like the way the mainstream media treated previous anonymous monikers like the ALF, for example. Just because there are (potentially) identifiable core players, does not reduce a political phenonema to a simple conspiracy that discounts the network effect of unconnected participants etc. Let's not fall into simplistic "authentic anonymous" versus "fake anonymous" dichotomies.

Self-proclaimed socialists are enforcing austerity in Europe. Now, I think Ron Paul is a racist, homophobic, right-wing, capitalist piece of shit, but even politicians who do have the best of working class intentions are beholden to logic of capital. By being managers of capitalism (private or state), their actions--once again despite best intentions--are in large part determined by the economic system under which they operate.

So this isn't about integrity or principles or corruption or even financiers (in the UK, the Labour Party is 90% funded by the trade unions and its leaders opposed recent mass pension/austerity strike). It's about the nature of the state and the fact that all politicians are objectively members of the ruling class.

In regard to Paul in particular, you're neglecting to mention that he wants to privatise fucking everything, remove the "privileged status" of unions, and destroy whatever semblance of a welfare state is available in the US.
