Coventry is being done over again.

The Jag Plant on Browns Lane will no longer have a production line, the workers are being balloted over strike action. You can see all the latest developments here

Also are bins arn't being collected because the bin men have staged a wildcat

walkout after recviving a £4000 paycut. This is part of the salary review thing for all the council workers in wich most employees thought they would benifit. The bosses have of course gained and the media is playing it down a bit. The news says mostly manual workers have been affected but 2 or my family mebers are white collar workers and have both recived cuts my mums being a grand and a half, the word is that the numbers affected are at least double what the media is quoting.

Binmen vow not to go back.

Also the thing with the council is coventry is being used as a ginuea pig and that this could be implemented in other citys across the country soon.

Im thinking of going to the binmen's picket tomorrow lunch with a flask if there still out and to try and convince them to stay there.

Respect. We have to support the workers in everyway we can.

You gotta remember they have families to support though. But it does suck.
