Anarchist peace ....

Im just wondering in Libertarian Socialist (Anarchist society) what would the definition of peace be, ie the abolition of mental / physical war, mental / material poverty, in utopia sense :-o ....

So im taking no war, the abolition of poverty...

Does anarchism from Marxism on the idea of the end of history, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN .....

thx

IMO if anyone thinks you can ever reach a state of affairs where you can be 100% satisfied and say "this is the end, we're finished" then thats a bit crap.

Its always an ongoing thing.

well if you take that view then this whole struggle is pretty pointless,it sounds dumb but i'd like to think one day everyone can finally stop

Surely there will always be war or conflict of some kind?

They're still fighting in Star Trek even though they already got rid of money... tongue

I heard the bells on Christmas Day

Their old familiar carols play

And wild and sweet

The words repeat

Of peace on earth, goodwill to men (and women BTW)

Then from each black accursed mouth

The guns they thundered in the south

And with the sound

The carols drowned

Of peace on earth, goodwill to all men (and women but the meter doesn't work)!

And in despair I bowed my head;

'There is no peace on earth' I said,

'For hate is strong,

And mocks the song

Of peace on earth, goodwill to men (and the other half of humanity etc)!

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep,

'Love is not dead nor doth it sleep!

The wrong shall fail

The right prevail

With peace on earth, goodwill to humanity!'
