Great books/articles on Anti-militarism for potential dissertation?

I'm thinking of doing my dissertation on anti-militarism within the Anarchist movement in either the period before the first world war or between the first and second world war. I don't know whether to focus on one nation from a period from possibly 1900-1950 or focusing on two nations during the periods mentioned above.

Anyway, if anyone knows of any great books or articles on this subject, you would be doing me a massive favour. By the way, I am only a second year so I do have a lot of time to research!

I'm sure you'll become allergic to the topic after your dissertation! tongue

It matters and depends on the real situation of the subject being told in but it is more interesting to read on. Wish you'd found the the right books for it.
