One Day, We - The People - Will Write The History.

The young people of the UK marched last year - are were oppressed by the Police. The mainstream media (including the BBC), did their collective utmost, to ignore the issues of the dismantling of the NHS, the Welfare System and further eroding of Free Education. The Police tactic of 'kettling', was used against the students, even those under 16 years old. The panic this tactic caused, created panic amongst the young, and it is this natural 'panic', that anyone would feel when their lives are treatened, that the media focused upon, and declared to be 'violence' aimed at the ComDem government. Within days, a student was imprisoned for throwing a fire extinguisher that hit no one, but to date, no Police Officer has been charged with 'assault', and is not likely to be.

Last week, hundreds of thousands took to the London streets, and came from all over the UK. They were a diverse group, united in opposition to the ConDem governemnt's far-right political policies. Every announcement from 10 Downing Street, carries a shudder throughout the land. This week, the Disabled and the vulnerable are being told that they will have to move out of their homes, and that the 'Poor', have no right to reside in an area of relative allfuence.

The policies imerging from David Cameron, have something of a ludicrous ring about them, similar to the kind of nonsense usually associated with the far-right, racist political leader - Nick Griffin. In a short time, and with the help of the duplicitous Liberal Democratic Party, a far-right Conservative Party - worse than the hated Thatcher regime - is now turning the UK to thr far-right, and making victims of us all..Today, the true heroes are 'The People'. The far-right, and their allies, want us - The People - to think that we are all lonely individuals, who have ideas that no one else agrees with. We must be quiet, take the cuts and accept being 'dictated' to, or so the Cameron government would prefer. At this time, rightwing institutions and establishments start to show their true colours. We - The People - all live under a Local Council - mine is Sutton in South London. Many Councils with rightwing sympathetic employees, are enjoying the sweeping cuts that Central Government has unleashed.

The People will have to endure, as usual. One day, The People will hold the riegns of power, and the times we are living in, will become a thing of the past. Vladimir Mayakovsky once wrote that Communism has the moving blood of Socialism for its monument, I like to think that human life, in its simple manifestation is enough to fight oppression and tyranny. Sacrifice is part and parcel of this path. I am grateful to the students, and to the recent marchers, and ALL others who keep the flame burning. That includes forums such as this, and all the Leftist supporters.

Are these employees also 'The People'?

More to the point - do they view themselves as 'The People'?
