Advice about books on Mexican History, Chiapas region and Zapatistas

Hi folks, could you recommend books on Mexican History, Chiapas region and the Zapatistas. Its for a present for someone involved in the Edinburgh Chiapas Solidarity Group http://www.edinchiapas.org.uk/ They speak good spanish and like to keep practising it so if the book was in spanish that would be great.
Cheers!
ps know they have already read open veins of latin america by eduardo galeano & said it was v good

AK Press have just released Zapatista Spring which some people have really liked, but not to everyone's taste.

There's a bunch of really good academic books, like...

Developing Zapatista Autonomy

La Otra Parabla: Mujeres y Violencia en Chiapas, antes y despues de Acteal which will prob be easier to get hold of in English in the UK

Rights In Rebellion by Shannon Speed

Basta! Land and the Zapatista Rebellion in Chiapas

and especially First World Ha Ha Ha which is really good.

hey thanks, AJ and ramona...that's great to know which ones are in ace cos that means my friend who's buying another friend a present can not buy those ones! i know all the books donated by you were very much appreciated - swelling the ranks of the ace library!
& all the other titles mentioned sound v useful so i will pass them all on and add them to my mental 'books i would like to have/borrow list', cheers, dohball x
