New theme - or why it all looks a bit different innit.

The one we've been using was a bit buggy. So figured I'd try a new one out.

Really need rkn here to work on this properly because I'm crap at design. But hopefully this'll fix some of the formatting issues and with a bit of feedback we can tweak it so it looks better.

Everyone's usernames are coming out pretty tiny on firefox+mac

Having white space between posts makes it much easier on the eye

the star in the top left looks a bit poxy, you can see white pixels around the edges 'cos of the grey background, but generally nicer already, the colours, i'd forgotten they existed wink

Dunno if this is just another Mac thing but the "libcom.org" at the top is also pretty small, I mean it's readable but really small. It actually looks smaller than the Home | News |Library | etc bit, though that could just be my eyes playing tricks on me.

Woah I spoke too soon.... On Internet Explorer on a Mac it looks horrific - is it supposed to be yellow down the sides?!

All the text from posts etc is tiny as, usernames etc practically unreadbale

All the BB Code code buttons on top of the reply box are all on top of each other in a vertical line

Preview comment and Post comment boxes are on top of each other

Oh and all the posts are all squished up on the right hand side

But yet on Mac/Safari (does anyone actually use Safari ever?) it looks fine, except the "libcom.org" at the top comes out underneath the red and black star.

Oh and maybe it's just me but I reckon having black along the top looked better cos it kinda gave it more definition and tied it all together

yeah logo needs changing...

text links across the top are now massive, much bigger than they've ever been before. What's wrong with all these fucking moaners eh? but positive feedback from revol?! that's the first time he's ever complimented an improvement to the site!!

I like it, much easier on the eye with the colours and dividing lines.

tag links are impossible to click under long headlines.

see here:
http://libcom.org/news?page=1

under London: Hospital porters and cleaners on strike for example. Can click call centres, but not UK

er, works fine for me.

Is it not enough space under the headlines?

How about starting tags the line below the submitted stuff?
