The riots where pre 9/11,so why are they linking it.

I ve got a slightly biased view here cos i was living in ravescliffe when they was a riot was happeing there.Every one on the left siad it was a racist riot and basiclly where the "scum from the eastates" the fact is that they was a rumour that a group of asains where planning to firebomb the area as revenge.In the end it was gossip,but the atmos was so tense that people belived it.

But the way the press where going on as if it was the deep south and ready for lynching time. I dont care what color you are if you come to a area therating to blow up peoples houses, people will react.Or would the swp cob web left let it happen out of guilt.
