Frig your so gullible, galloway used all his oratical cliches, the fat ciger, the pregnant pauses, the potentous delivery, the messainic self-love.

He may not be guiltly, but dont fawn like the trots over him.Hes just another arrogant polticain with a signed photo of harold pinetr ,which makes him the guardain readers bit of rough totty.

A fine show! A real wankfest for the Respect lot no doubt, but what a pathetic spectacle, what is there to prove? Galloway brought out all the platitudes and presented them in a very coherent and robust way but he's still a self-centered politician who see's himself as some sort of amalgamation of winston churchill and che guevara. Having said that i suppose this is probably the most politically radical thing to appear on US tv since Bill Hicks so at least it provides a spectacle of opposition. confused

Well thats what i think,i just cannot bare watching all the swooning from the trots and the guardain leftys, and respect will be beeming with confidence now.And all the lefty yanks will think galloway some soaclist savoiur when in fact the only "right on" view he has is his anti-war stance.

I dont think people know about his religous love-in, his pro faith school ,anti-abrotion ,anti euthenasia stances.

Are you fucking autistic? No one is defending Galloway, saying he is a good person or a desirable politician. But he came off a lot better in that performance and it was entertaining to watch. Where do you disagree? confused

Right.

Lets try this one more time.

How, exactly, is anyone implying that "the sun shines out of his hemmaroids"? Are you completely incapable of actually reading what people say?

Your desire to cast everyone but you as a liberal (despite them ALL having the same anti-liberal stance as you) is fucking irritating.

Do you think he didn't perform well? Do you think it's impossible for him, as a Respect politician, to have performed well?

Because not everyone is sharp enough to realise that he was going to do that well. I bow down before your superior intelligence, sir.

I thought he was a blustering fairly ungifted but committed politician. I saw him at my uni and he seemed like he didn't seem the most articulate of scotsman. I was just surprised at how well he did on that video.

he does talk well, and it's no surprise that he done well and wiped the floor with them, i still think he's an opportunistic cunt and wouldn't trust him in a million years

reminded me a bit of milosevic at the hague, he performs well there, but i'm not gonna fawn all over milosevic just because he highlights valid criticisms of NATO/UN/West, much as i do want much more balances reporting on them (serbs) in the western media

i thought he would come out of this glowing and he did, big deal

he spent about 30% of the time talking about the actual allegations against him, the rest about other stuff, i thought it was poor of him however to more or less admit that he didn't know/care where the money came from for his charity, that was the only bit they seemed to have him on the hop

any scotsman could have went there and done a performance like that, our accents and straight talking are seen as trustworthy, and i think the u75 radio crew could have done a better interrogation of galloway than those dusty senators did

Thats my point,no is denying the bravura of his performance, but it is just a PERFORMANCE.

The irritaing thing is now that he will get some street cred kudos, and his greasy slappabul visage wil be all over the place.

Let the fawning begin

After seeing the performance he gave to the US Senate panel, I'm definitely 100 percent behind this feisty Scotsman.

Well done George, hope he provides as much entertainment in Parliament

A radical left wing thinke(REALLY dio), first usurping someone like Oona King from such a crucial London seat, and then gaining the ears of the entire world's media to crucify the hapless American idiots in Washington - in a few weeks!

Good on him. Its the first time I've come close to being proud to be British for some time. I owe him one

for one cannot wait for Galloway to take his seat in the commons and have a go at Blair.

yup, no doubt that will be his "mother of all smokescreens" to deflect attention away from representing his new constituents in exactly the same as he did his old, i.e. from portugal, bangladesh, etc etc...

can't see him getting involved in the tedium of local issues

i don't mind if his face is all over the place now, just gives plenty more material to use when he does eventually fuck up and get caught.

He also told the senate that he only owned one company which was for income from his paper colum

but i thought he was also co-owner of that friction books that he has just set up, with a launhc party being held in the house of commons for it, he also said he has never seen a barrel of oil in his life, but didn't the sun put one in his garden once as a gimmick, maybe he was at another one of his houses when that happened

the UK charity commission today have not exactly backed up what george said yesterday about his charity been given a clean bill of health from the charity commission, they say that there had been "limitations on their investigation",and that "some of the records for the charity had been taken out of the country by Zureikat"

They now want a gander at the senate evidence to see if any further action is required

not sure if they had made these limitations clear at the time of their investigation though

That maraim appeal was just a ego boost for allahway,i remeber he did a jesse jackson and walked of the plane with child in his hand,Knowing full well the press would be there, the messaih complex incarnate.
