After the London Anarchist Bookfair

Enrager.net Social @ The Anarchist Bookfair:

6pm @ The Duck & Dive (First Floor) - ULU - 27th Nov.

Also don't forget to come visit our stall, Lower Hall, First Floor

It's the Anarchist Bookfair on the 27th November, and some of us lot were thinking it might be cool to meet up with each other in the *shock horror* real world.

We'll finally be able to see who looks the most like Rik from the young ones, whether bigdave really does appreciate marmalade that much, and whether all the posters with female names are actually 45-year-old man-perves.

So whadda people reckon? The bookfair officially ends at 7 don't it? So we could meet up at 7 in one of the bars? Or alternatively we could all head round to the nearest net caff and all log in together embarrassed (which on the plus side would make it easier for us all to call each other cocks and nob-heads)

Fantastic idea. But just in case I don't make it, I'd like everyone to know that I'm a good-looking bastard with a full head of hair. wink

I'd sooner drink with fascists than primmos. Both are violent anti-working class ideologies, but at least fascists can hold a discussion about football. And they tend to get their round in.

Wayne wil be doing more of this kind of pub-friendly stand up at the social.

"Take my ideology -- please!"

"How many primitivists does it take to change a light bulb?

Ten -- because they're so stupid!"

None. They ran away from the lightbulb because it was oppressing them.

Thirteen...

One to write a piece about how telephones oppress us.

One to do a dance to the light god.

Three to sacrifice a hill goat to the light god.

One to critique the ladder.

One to smash the ladder.

Two to build a fire underneath so they can see what they're doing.

And three to engage in ritual warfare with the authoritarian vanguardist bastard who was delegated to call the electrician.

I think freedom needs a new column... Go on, please?

i believe megabus do the £1 tickets, but only from certain places. if you're anywhere that you can get on chiltern railways then they do comparatively cheap tickets (they do from brum anyway). shame i can't make it, but i'm not going to get a flight to london and back just to meet some smelly anarchists when there are plenty here if i could only be arsed to walk to the place.

and by the way, it's bloody great that there is an animal rights movement in spain now, same goes for the squatters and assorted weirdoes, though i don't usually understand the full length of their politics. These developments are hardly away from the CNT/CGT, there's still about 99% of the working class to organise, so if a few of them do some other stuff, that's probably not going to kill them.

I'd be up for this (the social, not the hemp powered typewriter trip). Where is it supposed to be?

shit, that does sound bad, must have been difficult, almost as bad than my 2 years in construction work dominated by racist, sexist, selfish arseholes.

Wheres My Shoes, don't worry we all drink cider from plastic bottles, Euston's not to far from the canal, so we could shiver under a bridge somewhere.

could 'lifestylists' be better termed beatnicks? they sound like the same sort of pretentious, middle class hippies.

A meet? Wow, anarchy in the UK!
