The Cowley Club bookshop presents Rod Kedward talking on 'Roots and routes of French Resistance during World War II' on Monday April 23 2012. FREE AND OPEN TO ALL. 7pm kickoff.

Professor Rod Kedward is Emeritus Professor of History, University of Sussex. He is a well-respected writer on Vichy France and the Resistance. He is the author of several books, including 'The Anarchists: The Men Who Shocked an Era' (1971), 'Resistance in Vichy France' (1978) and 'La Vie en Bleu: France and the French since 1900' (2005).

Unfortunately Rod Kedward has been struck down by pneumonia so he
won't be able to make the April 23 talk. We hope to reschedule at a
later date.
